“ I've been a regular at Adonis Mediterranean Grill for years now and hereby proclaim it's serving the best Gyro Wrap ($14.95) on the west coast. Alex, the owner, is the most likable and friendly guy I've met in years. He handcrafts your wrap with whatever you want...lettuce, pickles, tomatoes, white and red cabbage and extra garlic tzatziki please! You can pick from the huge spits of fresh made gyro meat or white meat chicken. He makes your gyro, then wraps it in foil and heats it up in a Panini press. It's absolutely delicious. You can eat it there or take it to go and the best deal in Laguna Beach as far as I'm concerned. I did not order the fresh made French fries ($4.65) today but I know they taste great so don't be afraid to get those too. This is a solid 5-Star super casual restaurant in downtown Laguna and definitely worth a stop. FYI - It's not a sit down restaurant but more of a small stand up restaurant with stools and a ocean view. CASH ONLY! ”
“ Quick late lunch and Adonis Mediterranean Grill was the perfect spot. We ordered a gyro platter and chicken wrap. We watched as they were prepared right in front of us, by a nice gentleman who we think was the owner. Great flavors for both meals. Delicious. My chicken wrap had tender and not dry well prepared chicken. Great pita and veggies inside too. I love that you get to choose exactly what you want with the offerings in the case. Hubby liked his shawarma wrap too because of the nice flavors. Fries could have been more fresh but they were still good. It's primarily a walk-up and order kind of place, with some seating. We took our food to the beach! We would absolutely return and try other entrees. Cash only, but there's conveniently an atm machine inside for those who need it. ”

I was so hungry and SHAWARMA HOUSE was shining in bright lights, I KNEW I had to stop by! FOOD: I ordered the chicken and gyro plate, a chicken wrap, French fries, and grape leaves. What can I say? The meat was juicy and tender, the fries were crisp, and the grape leaves were made to perfection. I'm not overdoing this review! It really tasted amazing. Every food item, every bite was excellent! The service? Amazing. I felt like they knew their cuisine from top to bottom and made me feel welcome and well-taken care of. I didn't wait very long and everyone made fun small talk while I stood by the cashier, waiting to pay. Thank you again for your wonderful food and service, Adonis!
